Art

As most artist, my work started when I was young, however as a young teen I accepted the review of peers and teachers that I was not very good at art. My art took another form in the way of graphic design a few years later and for the next two decades. It was not until my mid-thirties that I resurrected my passion for art and discovered that art is not something you are good or bad at, but rather you enjoy or do not enjoy. I particularly enjoy it and therefore I am an artist. I enjoy working with oil paints, oil pastels, drawing, photography and computer design for print and the web.

Marketing
More than eight years experience in research, planning, implementation and evaluation of marketing professional services. Targeting and developing relationships with various organizations to create opportunities for speaking venues. Creation, maintenance and optimization of databases for mail, e-mail and phone communication campaigns with various professional industries and associations. The creation and organization of procedures, forms, and materials needed to establish and maintain effectively functioning marketing departments; resulting in successful projects and programs from possibility to evaluation.

Organization
Implementation of procedures, calendars, forms and communication plans designed to address the individual needs of
each project or event. Program coordination of national seminars with various presenters, ever changing equipment and location needs, travel arrangements, preparation of all materials, follow-up, program evaluations and communication with the client. The coordination of a busy congressman’s schedule with that of congressional races nation-wide in order to visit as many district races as possible.
